Refund & Cancellation Policy

OfferLetter is operated by an individual (not a registered company). Support uses a provisional email (offerletter0221@gmail.com) until a permanent inbox is set up. We do not publish a commercial storefront address; correspondence is by email. If any regulator or payment partner requires additional seller particulars, contact us at that email.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to purchases made on OfferLetter's website and checkout for access to the OfferLetter desktop application and related online services (the "Service"), including AI-assisted solves, real-time transcription, and account-based entitlements, as described on our pricing and product pages.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Where those rights cannot be waived by contract, they continue to apply alongside this Policy.

This Policy is drafted to align with applicable consumer-protection, e-commerce, and payment compliance requirements for this checkout and billing setup.

2. Operator & jurisdiction

  • Operator: OfferLetter is offered by an individual proprietor / developer. There is no separate company, LLP, or partnership named on this policy unless we notify you otherwise on the website or at checkout. Contractual details (including governing law and venue) are as stated in our Terms and at checkout.
  • Trading / brand name: OfferLetter (as used on this website and in the app).
  • Correspondence: primary contact is email at offerletter0221@gmail.com (see §13). We do not list a public business premises; we are not a brick-and-mortar establishment.
  • Optional — your name on record: you may add your full legal name here when you choose: [Your name as individual operator — optional]
  • Governing law & venue: As stated in our Terms and at checkout, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and dispute-resolution requirements that apply to this service.

*Voluntary refunds under Section 6 require both the 7 calendar-day window and compliance with AI credit / AI Solution usage caps in §6.2 (stricter for limited-creditplans). See also exclusions in Section 7. There is no separate "7 day vs 24 hour" rule.

4. Definitions

  • "AI Solution" (also called an AI credit for billing) means one billable AI-assisted solve action recorded against your account. Plans may include a fixed pool of these (a limited-credit plan) or unlimited use for an active period subject to fair use and the Terms (an unlimited plan).
  • "Limited-credit plan" today means Starter Pack (50 AI Solutions total for the pack). "Unlimited plan" means Monthly Pro or Lifetime Pro while your paid entitlement is active.
  • "Purchase Date" means the date and time your payment is confirmed successful by Razorpay (or other authorised processor shown at checkout).
  • "Business Days" means Monday–Saturday, excluding public holidays observed by the operator, unless stated otherwise.

5. Free Trial

The Free Trial does not require payment. No refund applies.

6. Voluntary refunds (cooling-off style) — paid plans

This section describes contractual refunds OfferLetter may approve in addition to any statutory remedies available to you.

6.1 Time window

For Starter Pack and Lifetime Pro, and for the first successful charge of Monthly Pro only, you may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the Purchase Date, subject to Section 6.2 and Sections 7–8.

6.2 AI credit usage limits (required with the 7-day window)

The 7-day window in §6.1 is not enough on its own. A voluntary refund is available only if, as recorded in your account when we verify the request, you have not exceeded the maximum number of AI Solutions / AI credits used after the applicable Purchase Date (see §4). This is especially important for limited-credit plans, where each use consumes part of your fixed pack.

  • Starter Pack (limited-credit — 50 AI Solutions in the pack): not more than 3 AI Solutions (3 credits) may have been consumed after purchase. If you have used more than 3, you are not eligible for a voluntary refund under §6.1 even if you are still within 7 days.
  • Monthly Pro (first successful charge only — unlimited plan for that period): not more than 10 AI Solutions may have been consumed after that first charge. This cap applies because the plan does not have a fixed credit pool for the month in the same way as Starter; it is a reasonable use threshold for a cooling-off refund.
  • Lifetime Pro (unlimited plan subject to fair use): not more than 10 AI Solutions may have been consumed after purchase for voluntary refund eligibility under §6.1.

We count usage using our normal billing records for AI Solutions. Trial or promotional uses outside the paid plan may be excluded from these caps where clearly separated in your account.

If your AI credit usage exceeds the thresholds above, we will not grant a voluntary refund under Section 6.1, except where Section 8 (duplicate charge, failed activation, material defect) applies.

7. When we do not provide a voluntary refund

  • Request after the 7 calendar-day window in Section 6.1 (for the applicable purchase).
  • AI credit / AI Solution usage above the limits in Section 6.2 (including any limited-credit plan over the stated cap).
  • Account suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms.
  • The Service worked materially as described but did not meet subjective expectations.
  • Renewal charges for Monthly Pro after the first successful charge (see Section 9).

8. Duplicate charge, failed activation, material technical failure

Email us at offerletter0221@gmail.com if:

  • You were charged more than once for the same transaction (duplicate charge).
  • Payment succeeded but entitlements did not activate within a reasonable time and we cannot fix this within 5 Business Days of a verified report.
  • A defect materially prevents core functionality described on the website, after reasonable support attempts.

Refunds here may be full or partial, based on verification. Nothing in this Section limits statutory rights.

9. Monthly Pro — subscription & cancellation

Monthly Pro is a recurring monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout (currently ₹2,499/month) until cancelled.

  • You may cancel auto-renewal from your dashboard / subscription controls (and Razorpay subscription management where applicable). Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically refund the current paid period unless you qualify under Section 6 (first charge only) or Section 8.
  • Mid-cycle refunds for unused days are not guaranteed and are assessed where required by law or payment network rules.

10. Refund processing

  • Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5–7 Business Days after approval.
  • Banks or wallets may take additional time to show the credit.
  • The net refund may exclude non-refundable payment gateway fees or amounts required to be withheld under law — we will confirm the net amount when we respond.

11. Failed or stuck transactions

  • If a payment fails but your bank shows a debit, do not retry immediately.
  • Wait 24–48 hours; many debits auto-reverse.
  • If not reversed, email us with Razorpay / bank references.
  • After verification, we will help arrange reversal or refund as appropriate.

12. Chargebacks

Contact us before initiating a chargeback. Wrongful chargebacks may result in account suspension and may not extinguish lawful amounts owing under the Terms.

13. How to request a refund or cancellation help

  2. Include: registered email; order / Razorpay payment ID; Purchase Date; plan name; reason; screenshots if technical.
  3. Timelines: we aim to acknowledge within 48 hours on Business Days and to resolve requests within a reasonable period. Where applicable law or payment-network rules set a specific grievance timeline (for example, certain e-commerce rules), we will meet or exceed those requirements when they apply to your case. Delays may occur for payment-provider verification.

14. Grievance redressal (individual operator)

We provide a grievance and support path by email for all customers. As a sole individual operator, the same person handles product, billing, and complaints — there is no separate corporate grievance desk or walk-in office. Where applicable e-commerce or consumer rules require a designated grievance contact, the email above serves that role for purchases to which those rules apply.

15. Changes to this Policy

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law, including any statutory consumer remedies that cannot be waived by contract.
